Beautiful May

Gratitude

May is a beautiful month to notice. Spring has almost ended, and all the plants are in bloom.

There is so much to be grateful as the end of spring arrives. πŸŒΏπŸ’—

I can count a few celebrations, from birthdays of kindred spirits, to also a global acknowledgement for World Falun Dafa Day!

In spirit of this blog post's theme, I would like to give this ancient spiritual meditation practice an acknowledgement of gratitude.

Gratitude for the wellbeing it has brought to my life and those of others, and more, including understanding the benefits of letting go in your spirit about things you cannot control, etc.

Feel free to check out a short sharing on 'Letting Go' via an Instagram post, from a fellow Austrian Falun Dafa cultivator, who resides currently in California with her husband.

You can also register online for free here, to learn the meditation practice.

Hygge

In closing, have you heard of hygge?

Hygge is a nordic word that encompasses a cultivated coziness, which includes the practice of gratitude.

It makes sense, gratitude is a win-win for those who practice it and those who are on the receiving end of it.

And when we focus on being grateful, it always increases our wellbeing.

You can practice gratitude through expressing it through words of affirmation or gift giving or even writing in your journal, for example.

Hope this blog post has inspired you to reflect on what you are grateful for, including in this beautiful month of May!

As the Virtueberry blog continues, it may very well start a blog section on cultivating gratitude, including cultural awareness of this virtue. What do you think?

Enjoy the rest of your spring time! πŸ’—

Thank you for sharing this heart-felt sacred gift of β€œgratitude”; a sacred gift given to man, so that he may one day come to appreciate and acknowledge it by embracing it in his heart, mind and soul; thus sharing it with those around him so that together he and his people together shall genuinely thrive.
