βIf there is righteousness in the heart π§‘, there will be beauty in the character.
If there is beauty in the character πΌπ», there will be harmony in the home.
If there is harmony in the home π‘, there will be order in the nations.
When there is order in the nations π, there will peace in the world.β β

This year has had many ups and downs for us all. But a new year is coming. β¨
As touched upon in last Decemberβs post βPost Covid β A Renaissance?β, the word Renaissance means "rebirth" in French.
When the New Year arrives, people celebrate and look forward to new beginnings, and in a sense, a "rebirth" of their life, through setting new goals to just having an open mind on what good may arrive or how to handle challenges better.
At present, with the new year approaching us, let us take a moment to reflect upon our past, on what brings us love, light, and grace into our life, like how our beauty and wellness choices play a role in improving our future lives.
Try journaling or have a conversation with yourself or others on this.
The ending part of this blog post is a recollection of a few quotes from this yearβs blog on beauty and wellness.
Feel free to meditate on these words and use them in your life- however you may want to-be it as a reminder in your planner or by incorporating these quotes in something creative you make.
Enjoy! π
"Making something beautiful is difficult, but it is amazingly worthwhile. If you learn to make something in your life truly beautiful-even one thing-then you have established a relationship with beauty." πΏπΈβ¨ Dr. Jordan B. Peterson: Beyond Order : Rule VIII
*"Dwell on the beauty of life. Watch the stars, and see yourself running with them. When you arise in the morning think of what a privilege it is to be alive, to think, to enjoy, to love."

In spirit of last December's post ~
'What kind of Renaissance would you like to experience in your future?'
In closing, here is a lovely poem narrated by one of my favourite authors on beauty (Jennifer L. Scott), in perfect time for this Holiday Season. πΏβ¨π Wishing you a safe and kindhearted holiday season. π Virtueberry
